Five more Huawei phones to receive EMUI 9.1 this month

Huawei’s South Africa confirmed five more devices will enjoy EMUI 9.1 starting this month. The , P20^[1], P20 Pro^[2], Mate 10 Pro^[3], Mate 10 Porsche Design^[4] and Mate RS Porsche Design^[5] are getting the latest firmware update this month.

In addition the P30 lite^[6], Mate 20 lite^[7], Mate 9^[8], P10^[9], P10 Plus^[10], P smart 2019^[11], Y5 2019^[12] and Y6 2019^[13] were confirmed to get the latest firmwarein August.

EMUI 9.1 brings a multitude of novelties such as the new EROFS file system, GPU Turbo 3.0 as well as camera improvements bringing the Moon mode found in the P30 line. In addition, Huawei is bringing refined icon design and gesture controls.
